Caribou and Northern Lights!

Our ground-based air sampling lab is on the tundra off "Cake Eater Road".  We're still trying to figure out the origin of the name of the road!  Out here we are often entertained by great views.  Recently there were caribou nearby, and last night we saw the northern lights from the lab!

Three caribou on the tundra
Aurora to the east and moonlight
Aurora to the west with the moonlight and lights of the town of Barrow
